Rich Pond Pearls

This is a new program geared toward 4th-6th grade girls that strives to promote character building that can be used as "Pearls of Wisdom" for the rest of their lives. This group meets once a month on Mondays and hosts a guest speaker from our community on specific topics such as kindness, communication, mental and physical health, and relationship building with peers. The students are encouraged to use the discussion each month and carry the "pearl" into their everyday lives. Students that participate in the monthly meetings and maintain a positive behavior standing with the school will be invited to the May Tea Party, where a piece of their pearl jewelry set will be awarded to them for maintaining year-long excellence in positive character building. The hope is that once students reach the 6th grade they have several pearls of wisdom to carry with them to the middle school, as well as a complete set of pearls (earrings, necklace, bracelet) that is a tangible reminder that pearls are "P.R.E.T.T.Y", and to uphold Positivity, Respectfulness, Encouragement, Thoughtfulness, Truthfulness, and Yearn to do their best.

Boys to Men

This program launched October of 2019 with boys in 4th-6th grades. The Boys to Men Leadership Group meets every other Wednesday from 8:30-9am in the library. The goal of Boys to Men Leadership Group is to reach young men where they are and grow them into productive young men of society who can contribute to their communities and future workforce. We look to mold young boys into respectful young men. We strive to develop academics, behavioral, emotional, and social development. Since the development of Boys to Men Leadership Group in Warren County, there has been a decrease in behavior referrals, and an increase in positive behavior referrals and attitudes. We reach our students by building confidence, communication skills, work ethic, leadership, team work, interpersonal skills, problem-solving and adaptability.
